Bizarre Deaths of History PT. I

Throughout history, many people have been subjected to various injustice, and torture is one of these. People of the old world found delight in controlling, humiliating, and ultimately killing his enemies. Here are some of the examples I found that are worth mention.

Tiger Woods is not on this list.


Saint Peter 65 - 67 AD
When about to be crucified, Peter felt unworthy of being crucified the normal way, and instead made the massively regrettable decision to be crucified upside down, inadvertently giving 10's upon 100's of death, and black metal bands symbols to use on their album covers.

It is rumored that Marcus was executed via the Parthians, after losing a battle by being forced to drink a cup, or goblet of molten gold. Yikes, that's one golden shower even the most enthusiastic of fetish lovers would probably avoid.


Herod the Great 4 BC
Herod suffered from sores, dorsiflexion, convulsions, labored breathing, and a rotten cock and balls that were riddled with tons of worms. It appears that history hasn't really ever known what the exact cause of his condition was, but that might be something old fashioned folk would refer to, as GOD HATES YOU.




Mithridates 401 BC
Sentenced to death by Scaphism.This was often done of sealing a person into a structure made of two boats that float on a stagnant body of water, but leaving the victim's hands, feet and head exposed to the elements. They were fed milk and honey to give them diarrhea, and where covered in honey to attract insects that would feed on them. They would also continue feed the individual to prevent them from dying. It was said that Mithridates survived the torture for 17 days. They probably could have knocked his death time down by a whole week if they had been playing a Lindsay Lohan record inside the boats.
